All of these activities further TA Foundation’s exempt purposes by promoting serious competition and develop amateur athletes who demonstrate a national or international level of talent and achievement, with particular focus on those who demonstrate financial need in pursuit of their goals.
TA Foundation was established in 2012 as a private operating foundation based in Vail, Colorado. This status allows the Foundation to conduct its own charitable programs and activities, in addition to supporting individuals and other exempt organizations. As a qualified entity under IRS rule 501(c)3, contributions to TA Foundation are deductible on the same basis as contributions to public charities.
- coaching, training facilities and travel to its own selected team of athletes
- grants to individual athletes to supplement their training, competition, and travel expenses
- grants to other similarly-aligned 501(c)(3) organizations for the infrastructure required to carry out their missions
