SYNC ATHLETE FUND
The SYNC Athlete Fund will award $50,000 worth of individual grants to athletes for 2019/2020 season via the 501(c)3 Team America Foundation. Applications are accepted from July 8th through August 31st. Athletes who are dedicated to the sport of ski racing and demonstrate a funding gap in their journey are encouraged to apply. |
2016-2017 PROJECTS
ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT STUDY
A project undertaken to gain a better understanding of the trends in development among the World Cup Top 30 as juniors. This was done as a three-part study, including FIS data analysis, a World Cup athlete survey, and several thought leader interview sessions. National University Team After a successful first year, the US ski Team in conjunction with NCAA will continue to provide a program that incorporates a collegiate education and no-compromise ski racing opportunity. TA Foundation is seeking partners in funding to help support USST in this initiative.
REDNECK RACING Redneck Racing is another independent team created by high-level athletes based in New England who are responsible for the construction and funding of their own training and racing. As a partner with Redneck, contributions through TA provide a way to support Redneck Racing through a charitable vehicle. |
JUNIOR TEAM AMERICA
Junior Team America is designed to support Ski & Snowboard Club Vail (SSCV) athletes who have achieved a nationally or internationally recognized level of current performance. |
TEAM AMERICA
Team America is created as a place for committed, high-level athletes with World Cup ambitions, but not current members of the US Ski Team. |
